Pat's Place

Description:

• Pat Simmons is a retired schoolteacher (she taught for 28 years in the Salt Cay school system) who now runs this modest eatery out of her home, on a latticed screened-in patio with yellow walls, green trim, and bright-colored tablecloths. Call ahead to say you're coming, give Pat your order, and when you arrive, you'll be treated to delicious island food served family-style. Choose from steamed or fried fish, curry conch, barbecued chicken, peas 'n' rice, greens, and more. Beer and wine are available.
