Among Ogden's most active live performance stages.

  • NileGuide Expert tip:

    Check online for upcoming events.

    Description:

    • Located in the Val A. Browning Center for Performing Arts, the Allred Theater is one of Weber State University's most active stages, hosting all kinds of acts from around the world. This buildling, originally erected in the early 1960s, underwent a massive renovation in the late 1990s, which was completed in 1999. In addition to the Allred Theater, the Browning Center also contains the Austad Auditorium, Eccles Theater, Parry Recital Hall, Garrison Rehearsal Hall, and several classrooms, dressing rooms, and rehearsal rooms. All of these performance venues and rehearsal stages host the university's performing artists -whether they be classical musicians or drama students. Ballet and other dance performances are given here as well -including the classic Nutcracker. If you're in the Ogden area, and would like to check out some live music or theater, check the online schedule. Tickets are usually quite reasonably priced, and booking for events can be done online.
