    • Built in the sumptuous manner of the grand hotels of Europe, this hotel is located one-half mile from Temple Square. The Salt Palace Convention Center is also a mile away. Guests are surrounded by comfort, from the rich English wool carpets and the crystal chandeliers to the ornate tapestries decorating the walls.

      The hotel attracts business travelers with its 80,000 square feet of event space, and leisure travelers with its many on-site amenities. The hotel's large fitness center and spa offers guests beauty and massage treatments, steam rooms and saunas, and there are indoor, outdoor, and children's pools. Afternoon tea service at the Lobby Lounge offers Harney & Sons fine teas and fresh pastries. The Garden Cafe provides dining indoors or outdoors and features a Sunday brunch with carving stations and custom omelets.

      The Grand America Hotel has 775 guest rooms, with handcrafted Richelieu furniture, leather-topped desks, and overstuffed couches and armchairs. Guestrooms feature Juliet balconies and Italian marble bathrooms with separate tub and shower, plush bathrobes, and designer toiletries. Other amenities include pay movies, mini-bars and complimentary high-speed Internet access. All rooms are non-smoking and housekeeping is offered twice daily.
