NileGuide Expert tip:

Families should inquire about the cottage-style Guest House.

Description:

Located in the southern end of the Salt Lake Valley, The Hansen House was built by then Major of Sandy, William D. Kuhre,  in 1887. This Victorian bed & breakfast has been carefully decorated and restored to match its period, with hardwood floors and adornments, crystal chandeliers, and stained glass. Originally located in downtown Salt Lake City, the additional guest house structure was actually "rescued" by the b & b and relocated to its current location, roughly 15 miles to the south. Built by Russian Americans, this cottage is today used to house families and other guests arriving in groups. In addition to the cottage, there are six guest rooms in the main house. If you'd like to learn more about the Hansen House, check online, where there is a video tour and a detailed, illustrated description of each room. Extremely romantic and elegant, this would be ideal accommodations for weddings, anniversaries, or any special occasion.
