If you are looking for hearty, sometimes heavy, and satisfying meals without fancy adornments, Archibald's is a good answer. More substantial, greasy-spoon items from the menu include chicken cordon bleu, pot roast, chicken-fried steak, beef stroganoff, country chicken pasta, and stuffed sirloin. For the less calorically-inclined, there are lighter, fresher items like grilled garlic-lemon chicken, blackened salmon, ginger chicken salad, and spinach salad. Regardless of your appetite, this restaurant offers cozy, home-cooked-seeming meals in a family-friendly, no-pretenses atmosphere that is nonetheless clean and inviting.

      This restaurant was opened in 1990 and named after early Utah pioneer, Archibald Gardener -a man with 11 wives, 48 children and an amazing 270 grandchildren. This man knew how to feed a family! Today the restaurant is still situated in the historic farm grounds, offering interesting dining room options, including seating space in a 32-foot-tall grain silo.
