NileGuide Expert Says:
One of Salt Lake's most unique dining experiences.
NileGuide Expert tip:
Belly dancers accompany weekend dinners!
Description:
- A night at the Cedars of Lebanon is like a quick trip to the Middle East. The small dining room is packed with regional decor, plants, bright murals, scents, and language. Enjoy the rich and savory flavors of Moroccan and Lebanese cuisine among friends or on a date. Plenty of delicious and filling options exist for vegetarians as well as for carnivores. Kafta kebab, lamb couscous, Lebanese kibbeh, moussaka, moujadra, and pastilla are just a few selections on the lengthy menu. Don't worry if you're unfamiliar with the dishes; each item is followed by a clear description.
If you come on a weekend night, you'll also see the restaurant's belly dancers. Don't worry; the dancers entertain, but don't intrude! Try out the new hookah lounge for after-dinner relaxation in keeping with Middle Eastern tradition. Bottom line: this restaurant provides a unique and cultured way to enjoy your food that certainly departs from the conservative Utah norm! Reservations are appreciated, especially on weekend nights. - © NileGuide2013
