Description:
- Located in a strip mall, the decor is rather plain and unassuming. The menu does not include many unusual choices, but the tried-and-true entrees are exceptionally well done. The "Mexican Plate", for example, consists of an enchilada and a beef taco; although not particularly original, it is delicious and a real value. Alcoholic beverages are served with its meals, which patrons are free to enjoy in the dining room or to order from the take-out menu.

I eat excellent Mexican food in Arizona and New Mexico several times per year so my expectations in northern Utah were not high, but even then my visit to El Farol was disappointing....
