Garden Restaurant (The) - Salt Lake City
  • Cuisines: American
  • NileGuide Expert tip:

Remember that the Mormon Church does not allow its members to consume alcoholic beverages or coffee. To avoid embarrassment, refrain from asking for the wine list or coffee with dessert when at any Temple Square restaurant.

  • Description:

    • Amazing views, soft sounds of a waterfall, and the clean crisp feel of white tablecloths dried in the springtime sun permeate this restaurant. It is located on the top floor of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. Try the Parmesan-peppercorn dressing to begin with, served on a crunchy salad. Next move on to the very tender oven-roasted pork or the maple-pecan crusted breast of chicken. Though this restaurant does not serve coffee or alcohol, it is a great place for a quiet conversation and breathtaking scenery.
