• If you enjoy the convenience of mall shopping, but do not wish to condemn yourself to a drab, outdated building, or simply prefer to enjoy some fresh air, consider swinging by the Gateway Center. This outdoor mall sits just west of downtown and contains a full host of goods, from teen clothes, to furniture. This is also the location of an Apple Store. In general, the businesses housed within the complex tend to be above average and even high-end –but not prohibitively so. This new and attractive structure also includes a movie theater and food court. Children (and their parents) will love Discovery Gateway, a kid-centric, new museum.
