Day 1 - Salt Lake City
Arrive in Salt Lake City in the late afternoon and check in at the Ellerbeck Mansion Bed and Breakfast. Get settled and refreshed in this cozy hideaway just walking distance from downtown Salt Lake and then head to the New Yorker for an elegant, intimate dining experience.
After sampling the extensive wine list at the New Yorker, stop by The Bakery and enjoy a coffee and desert before retiring to the Ellerbeck and your plush canopy bed.

After enjoying breakfast at the Ellerbeck, stroll into downtown via Memory Grove Park. Just a few blocks from the mansion, Memory Grove is a beautiful park in a canyon that gives you just a taste of the beauty of the surrounding mountains.
Catch the Trax, Salt Lake City's train, at the city center and take a free ride to the Salt Lake City Public Library. The library, opened in 2003, is literally a work of art. Tour the roof top gardens, plaza, shops, galleries, and enjoy the stunning views of the city and surrounding Wasatch Mountains.
Stop by the nearby Salt Lake Roasting Company for a coffee and light lunch before heading up to the gorgeous Red Butte Gardens. The gardens offers light hiking trails with amazing panoramas of the Salt Lake Valley and a large collection of plants and flowers from all over the world.
To complete this utterly pleasurable day, enjoy dinner outside on a lovely garden patio at Caffe Molise. The caffe offers simple, elegant dishes from the Molise region of Italy. Make sure to top off the evening, with Caffe Molise's signature tiramisu.

You may want to skip breakfast this morning at the Ellerbeck mansion and head straight downtown to claim your seat for the live Sunday performance of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. The choir performs every Sunday morning as part of the longest running network broadcast in America - Music and the Spoken Word. The performance is free to guests and individuals must be in their seat promptly by 9:15am.
After enjoying the choir performance and touring Temple Square, sample the Sunday brunch at Squatters Pub and Brewery. Just remember, Utah law prohibits the serving of alcohol until noon so keep in mind that Squatters $2 bloody Marys and mimosas are not available until after 12.
Pass the afternoon at Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort located up Little Cottonwood Canyon. Take a scenic tram ride to the top of 11,000 foot Hidden Peak and the test your courage on the alpine slide or zip line.
