Description:
- Here's a casual restaurant where you need one most – at the top of Kapuzinerberg, the tree-covered mountain on the east bank of the Salzach. Built as a fortress at the height of the 30 Years' War in the 17th century, this stone structure now functions as a stub'n serving beer, soft drinks, light meals and snacks. After making the 230-meter ascent up Kapuzinerberg's trails and admiring the views, the schloss makes a great place to relax, rest your feet and refresh yourself. It's a respite in natural settings in the middle of the city. The views from its courtyard are spectacular. Call for opening hours.
