  • San Antonio is rich in Spanish, Mexican, and American history. Many of its popular tourist destinations tell the story of the land and its successive owners. If the heat is starting to make you sweat, there are plenty of natural and man-made wonders to cool you down in San Antonio as well. Underground you'll find the largest cavern in Texas; Natural Bridge Caverns is a National Natural Landmark and features spectacular limestone underground rock formations. If you're looking for some retro-cool things to do, and outside of town, check out HemisFair Park, where you can cool yourself in cascading fountains. No matter what kind of diversion you're seeking, San Antonio is sure to have something for you.
