  • Finding kid-friendly things for your little dudes in San Antonio is not hard and the majority of family getaways here are frequented by friendly folks who come back regularly for more good times. Six Flags Fiesta is located about 35 minutes northwest of downtown San Antonio. It's open every day in the summertime and weekends only the rest of the year. During the offseason the park closes some of the rides so call ahead to make sure the main attractions are running. Sea World has an aquarium, rollercoasters and the Lost Lagoon Water Park so be prepared to spend a full day here. San Antonio Children's Museum has a lot of interactive exhibits where the kids can really get involved. Tower of the Americas provides a giddy overlook of the city - the night vistas are sparkling and the views at sunset can be stunning. Draw up your plans early in San Antonio so you don't miss out on any of the many kid-friendly things to do here.
