• Founder Jorge Casio has given new life to the humble hamburger with inventions such as the Champions Burger. It's a certified angus beef burger topped with North Carolina hickory ham, French brie cheese, chimichurri sauce and onion rings on a white roll. His basic burger was named one of Texas Monthly Magazine's 2009 Top 50 Hamburgers in Texas. The restaurant also won SA Magazine's reader's choice award for best burger in 2010. With burgers starting at $6.99, GBG (as it's known by locals) manages to deliver premium ingredients at reasonable prices. Vegetarians rave about the portobello burger, with roasted red peppers, arugula and sun-dried tomatoes. Non-beef selections include burgers made from turkey, tuna, bison, and lamb. For dessert, there's even an ice cream burger.
