    • Jacala has been our hands down favorite in San Antonio for probably close to 3 decades. Last night was not good. Service was lacking, food was not hot, food did not taste fresh. ...

    Message from Jacala Mexican Restaurant

Jacala Mexican Restaurant first opened in San Antonio in 1949. It is the oldest originally owned Mexican restaurant in San Antonio. You will always find at least one member of the family's four generations around. Come by for award-winning margaritas and authentic Mexican food, including the restaurant's famous puffy tacos. We are just 10 minutes North of Downtown and the San Antonio Riverwalk.
