Rosario's at San Antonio International Airport

• As soon as you step off the plane at San Antonio International Airport, someone will most likely recommend visiting Rosario's, one of the city's most beloved Mexican restaurants. In Terminal B, there's now a Rosario's satellite outpost, serving some of the same dishes as the original restaurant. The restaurant is operated by HMSHost Restaurants under an agreement with Rosario's. They use original Rosario's recipes, and all the food is made from scratch on site, according to Chelsea Franklin, general manager. Bleary-eyed travelers will be drawn in by the restaurant's festive decor, including pendant lights hanging over the bar and walls painted in warm oranges, reds and yellows. Franklin says the most popular dish is the fish tacos, which are stuffed with grilled tilapia seasoned with chipotle mayonnaise, cabbage lime slaw, pickled red onion and avocado.
