Texas Land & Cattle Steak House

Description:

  • This Texas steakhouse, with its mesquite-grilled steaks, chicken and shrimp, has quickly become a favorite among San Antonio's business and leisure diners. John Wayne would have felt right at home here in this large but cozy steakhouse, reminiscent of a modern-day ranch house. While you're waiting to be seated, grab a handful of peanuts and start munching. Don't worry about the empty shells, though; that's what the floor is there for. A full bar and hearty wine list complement the beef-oriented menu. Start off with a cup of steak soup and then cut into a 16-ounce TXLC Smoked Sirloin, an 18-ounce Texas T-bone, or Steak Mexicano and Shrimp Diablo.

    Bar tender was great.

  • We had drinks on Thanksgiving night and just sat out on the river and watch the boats go by. Great location. Not over crowed. Located on the Riverwalk level of the Drury Hotel Inn...

  • We were in San Antonio for almost two weeks and this was by far the best place we ate. Great food, great service and make sure to leave room for desert!
