Description:

  • This festival is a patent highlight of Mexican Christmas celebrations that commence by the last week of November. Celebrated with pomp and zest on San Antonio's Market Square, it announces the onset of Christmas. And how! You can savor the mouth-watering Mexican delicacies, appreciate traditional dance-performances and folk art or get wooed by the Mariachi serenades. A children's choir introduces youngsters to their own culture and art in an environment that is charged with fun and frolic. One of the various special features is 'Pancho Claus', who is Santa's Latin-American cousin - an appearance, which children anxiously await. There are no admission charges for attending this festival.
