• Every year St. Patrick's Day Festival is celebrated with great enthusiasm and gaiety. You can't help but be a part of the celebration. Various events take place simultaneously - a street parade, a river parade, the Dyeing O' the River Green and other ceremonies commemorating St. Patrick and other past heroes. Watch the various groups line up for the street parade, all set in their glorious costumes. The river parade on the river walk ends with the ceremony - Dyeing O' the River Green, where 35 pounds of environmental friendly dye is emptied into the San Antonio River. Happy St. Patrick's Day!
