• This long-standing tradition of theater under the stars has been a mainstay in the city for nearly 40 years. Most play-goers pack a picnic then sit on the surrounding lush, grassy area enjoying their dinner al fresco before seeing the evening's presentation. Unique to this outdoor theater, because of its location beneath the flight approach to San Diego International Airport, actors are trained to quick-freeze when incoming flights roar overhead. It's a blast!
