• Soltan Baroo began as the tiny Café Caspian, a gift shop and a tea house started by Mahim and her daughters Roxanne and Sanam, where they served tea and sold Mahim's handmade crafts and an occasional taste of her wonderful cooking. The response was so positive that Mahim and her daughters soon opened Soltan Banoo, in order to provide authentic Persian dining to a growing crowd of regulars in the area. The menu features many of Mahim's personal recipes the surroundings are warm, welcoming and filled with exotic charm and a distinct family presence. Most dishes are prepared vegetarian-style. Beer and wine are also available.
