El Prado Group

• Group camping with a large parking area provided. Showers are available 1/4 mile away at Laguna Campground. This campground is closed in the winter. This area is not available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Reservations are required.

  Due to Extreme Fire Danger, Campfires and barbeques using wood or charcoal briquettes are NOT allowed in the designated fire rings in this campground. You may ONLY use a stove or lantern utilizing liquid fuel or petroleum products.

  Reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance.

  In the summer of 2000 a fence was constructed adjacent to El Prado sites to protect the endangered Laguna Skipper butterfly. If you have reserved this site in the past, this fence may affect the way you have traditionally recreated in this site. To protect the Laguna Skipper, campers cannot enter the area behind the fence. Your cooperation is essential in order to keep these campsites open.
