- As developers continue to help San Diego maintain its moniker of "America's Finest City," the railroad undergoes constant change. Throughout the county, leftover tracks go nowhere, wind through side streets, across old parking lots, and out into fields. At the Pacific Southwest Railway Museum, visitors can discover where those tracks, which people like Wyatt Earp and Casey Jones once rode, went to. At the Pacific Southwest Railway Museum, visitors can enjoy the sights and sounds of the dying locomotive or they can take a railway excursion.
