Women's History Museum & Education Center

• Inside the entrance of this museum located on 23rd Street, around the corner from Broadway, on the right, two glass cases display collections of jewelry designed by local artists. On the other side of the case, in the corner of the one room museum, a section of thousands of books celebrates women. The museum also boasts a display called the Women's Hall of Fame, which celebrates local women chosen by the board of the San Diego Women's History Museum. The Women's History Museum and Education Center also hosts various events to celebrate women's progression, such as "Academics in Motion," which is a series of lectures led by women on various topics. - Erick Pettersen
