I will be in San Diego soon and wondered if there are any good jazz clubs? Also, any restaurant suggestions for Pacific Beach area?

Anthology in the Little Italy neighbhorhood is new and very interesting for jazz. There's also Croce's in the Gaslamp District -- venerable but still top-notch.
Pacific Beach isn't a place for fine dining, but there are some great casual places, including World's Finest (on the boardwalk overlooking the beach). Kono's is a wildly popular (very unpretentious) breakfast joint next to Crystal Pier. For excellent surfer Mexican, check out Taco Surf on Mission Boulevard. For simple,inexpensive, and excellent curries, try World Curry on Garnet.

Hi Sybil check out the Bing Crosby’s Restaurant and Piano Bar in Fashion Vally. They have live music at night as long as you get there before 10:00 pm. It can be some what of an older crowd although the food is great but not to mention kind of pricey. As for Pacific Beach I would try Gringos. It is a Authentic Mexican food restaurant in the heart of Pacific Beach right next to the beach. If possible try and make it to the Sunday Champagne Brunch!!! Free Mimosas, you'll love it!
