3 Delicious Days in the Mission
Description:
Spend three days walking around the Mission District of San Francisco stuffing yourself silly at all the best eateries. When you're not eating, you'll be drinking at some solid neighborhood spots. And if you really can't imagine putting another thing in your mouth, you might as well look at some art.

Day 1 - San Francisco
Start your day with some buttery goodness at Tartine. The ham and cheese croissants are great if you're into savory, morning buns if you like sweet. Excellent strong coffee too. Have a look at some local artwork at City Art a couple blocks down. Weird Fish is a good spot for a reasonably priced seafood lunch. Make a stop at Mission Dolores, the location for the Hitchcock set Vertigo, before getting hammered under the stars at Zeitgeist. Finish off with excellent thin-crust pizza at Pauline's.

Day 2 - San Francisco
Atlas Cafe has excellent food, breakfast or lunch. You can sit outside and bring your dog if you have one. Afterward, take a nice walk down to the Women's Building Mural. It's enormous, and really pretty cool. Yamo Thai Kitchen is only a couple of blocks away. It's a greasy little hole in the wall serving excellent cheap Burmese fare. Get drunk at Lone Palm before a fancy dinner at Range, where you will not be disappointed.

Day 3 - San Francisco
Cafe Ethiopia is a good place for lunch. The food is spicy and it's very satisfying to eat with your fingers. Galreia de la Raza and Precita Eyes Muralists are close to each other and have cool art. Afterward, drink at Doc's Clock, a simple neighborhood place and the Attic, a dark little place resembling a speakeasy. Minako is an absolutely unique and fantastic Japanese place run by a mother-daughter duo. Try the hamachi in mint sauce and the octopus sunomono.
