This two-level champagne bar -- looking ever so chic with its red velvet sofas, brick walls, and floor-to-ceiling draperies -- chills more than 300 Champagnes and sparkling wines, including about 30 by the glass. As one would expect at a Financial District bubbly bar, there's a soupçon of pretentiousness emanating from the BMW-driving clientele and perpetually unshaven bartenders. If you're the type that prefers beer and free pretzels you'll hate it here, particularly if you have to wait in line for a $20 flute of something you can't even pronounce, but the pick-up scene really perks up as the bubbly flows into the night.

The Bubble Lounge, for the San Francisco location, specializes in champagnes and sparkling wines, serving over 300 varieties, a full bar & fine hors d'oeuvres. San Francisco's The Bubble Lounge has succeeded in providing an environment conducive to champagne & sparkling wine consumption - one that is not intimidating, one that is sensual, one that is friendly, one that is romantic. The decor is loungey and colonial with high ceilings, comfortable red velvet sofas with oriental rugs & voluptuous draperies, floor to ceiling mahogany shelves that contain our champagne paraphernalia collection, old champagne illustrations on the walls in a space divided into champagne salons. The Bubble Lounge offers private events, parties, live music & entertainment & happy hour. We're located on 714 Montgomery St between Washington & Jackson.
