    • Come here during the week an hour before sunset and get a table, order a pint of the house brew or one of the bar's delicious martinis and drink in the view. The food is a pleasant, if unremarkable, accent to a spectacular scene. After dark, try the Park Chalet restaurant and brewpub added downstairs off the back of the historic building, where on weekends and Tuesday nights live music keeps the atmosphere light even after sundown. The real highlight of both places is the beer, brewed on site and named for local landmarks (the Fleishhacker Stout recalls the massive public swimming pools that used to be right behind the San Francisco Zoo, in name, not in taste).

      Great burger and beer

    • If you are in this area I definitely recommend stopping in at this restaurant for a bite to eat. The service was excellent, it is a lovely sunny room and our burger and beer were delicious!...

      great beer, not so great on the food

    • i love this place for their microbrews - in particular the riptide red. their food has always been lacking which is disappointing but the beer keeps me coming back.
