User Review:
- A sure sign that the economy is recovering is the flock of inventive, scrappy restaurants opening in leading-edge San Francisco. None more exemplifies this trend than Heirloom, a refined little gem of a restaurant deep in the residential Mission DIstrict. It combines a short but flawlessly executed New American menu with a deep wine list assembled over years by the owner and now available to you at very reasonable prices, making it possible, for example, to pair Heirloom's exemplary bacon-and-onion tart with a well-aged Alsatian Gewurztraminer. It's hard to find better in San Francisco.
