Named after an old-time San Francisco restaurateur, this restaurant has much of a traditional boys-club feeling to it. With dim lighting, no-nonsense service and lots of San Francisco memorabilia decorating the walls, this is a quintessential example of what a steak house should be. The steakhouse also claims that many a times, artists have bartered one of their paintings for the sake of a meal at Izzy's - today, these artworks are part and parcel of the eatery's decor.
