Red's Java House

Description:

• Open early for breakfast or a cuppa along the Embarcadero, nearly under the Bay Bridge, Red's is a San Francisco institution. Serving greasy burgers, crispy fries and mountains of onion rings (quantity over quality for the latter), the food is standard but satisfies. The bar is out back, which is really just a tent that opens onto a patio on the Pier. They pass on the savings of not having walls to you with specials like $10 buckets of PBR, $2.75 domestic drafts and $5 well drinks. That's seriously cheap for San Francisco, and seems ridiculously cheap if you've just spent the past three hours buying $10 beers inside AT&T Park at a Giants game.
