Description:

• Descend a seemingly floating steel staircase alongside a mist-shrouded, living wall of moss into an uber-intimate, dimly-lit gastro-grotto that boasts a glowingly backlit ceramic bar, a glassed-off, dining-friendly wine cellar, and a table fashioned from the polished cross-section of a CA Redwood. The bafflingly reasonable menu starts with the likes of tarragon/mustard aioli oyster 'n chorizo fritter, and a country-style pork terrine, then moves on to mains like roasted breast of guinea fowl and braised local albacore, whose ancestors were speared by the caveman in the diorama upstairs.
