    • In a world of mainstream coffee, it can be difficult to find a shop that gives you that real good coffee shop feeling we all search for. Well search no more. Blue Bottle Coffee on its own, is some of the highest quality, good tasting jo that can be found in San Francisco (or anywhere for that matter). Combine that good taste with a little alleyway garage door with locals busting at the seams, and you've got yourself a beautiful coffee experience.
Just as any coffee shop does, the Blue Bottle Kiosk has its standard procedures to get you your espresso. It can be a little chaotic at times and even a bit nerve racking to the novice Blue Bottle-er. Here is how it's done:
The line tends to be ridiculously long, but shove your way in (nicely, of course) and wait your turn. Eventually, they will call out to take the order of the next person in line. They will do this by making eye contact and asking what you'd like. Pay attention. They serve only a couple kind of espresso drinks, and don't have any sort of flavor you can add. This is because it is good coffee. It doesn't need it. After you order, it will probably be another 5 minutes before your drink comes out, but they will remember who is goes to. Grab a fresh local pastry (the cookies are delicious), pay (don't you dare try to do this before you get your coffee), decorate your drink, and stand or sit on the street and enjoy. The Hayes Valley park is right up the street and is a nice place to enjoy as well.

Now if only all coffee shops could be this great...
