Description:

  • This is one of San Francisco's green spots that anyone can see from the street, but few know how to get to. Located adjacent to the Field Museum, this park is for those who enjoy the climb as much as the view. It will most likely be uninhabited save for wildflowers, dog walkers and urban explorers. Climb the path towards the rocks at the top of the hill and behold a grand view of San Francisco. Don't let the strong winds sweep away the moment, you can walk down the stairs and grab an ice cream on Castro Street. There are a variety of top-roped rock climbing routes available as well.
