- Opened in June 2009, this small shop in the Mission on 20th Street in between Valencia and Mission sells locally-made honey and other bee products like candles, pollen, propolis, soap, balms and lotions. They also stock a selection of equipment and supplies for local beekeepers, basically everything related to the hive. Their window displays are attractive and eye-catching. Periodically, Her Majesty's Secret Beekeeper offers classes like Introduction to Urban Beekeeping, Soap Making and Mead Making. An exhibit featuring bees and a microscope is fascinating, and lucky folks might get to take part in a honey tasting.
