If you're looking for a fun and busy place to get some good tacos but enjoy the evening more than just the food, then I recommend Tacolicious on Chestnut.

My new favorite place for fancy tacos is Nopalito...their carnitas are spectacular. Besides those, you're pretty much good to go at any of the 379 taquerias in the Mission District.

My faves are La Tacqueria, El Farolito, and La Corneta --- all within a few blocks of each other in the Mission
