Could you recommend me the cheapest places to stay in San Francisco? (hostels, dormitories) What would be the price?

I would also recommend the YWCA in San Francisco...I hear it's clean and very reasonable...and check on line for youth hostels...I know there's one near Union Square but I'm sorry I can't remember the name of it. It's hard to say prices because they change.

Although I mostly stay at my husband's relatives or get a hotel through Priceline, I imagine SF has several youth hostels Since I was already too old when I first started going there, I never checked on them. They should be the best way to go though.
