Greens in Fort Mason is still my favorite, but it's a bit pricey. On the less expensive side, Cafe Gratitude (2400 Harrison), Udupi Palace (1007 Valencia) and Burma Superstar (309 Clement) are some of the best.

I have to give a shout out to Golden Era Vegetarian on O'Farrell near Leavenworth. This is the best Chinese vegetarian I've had in the city and it is very affordable. The noodle soups are divine and so tasty! Millenium is more pricey and one of the best veggie restaurants in the city.

Anandafuara is one of the good ones and affordable in the area..also greens is good in fort mason..is price for the meals..also the ferry building offer in the farmer market a really vegetarian food.....
