Here is a solid list of places to get some good and fun sushi:
Mas Sake - fun, music, Marina
Ace Wasabi - high quality sushi - Marina
Marina Sushi - very fresh and delicious - Marina
Tsunami Sushi - great location, in SoMa near the ballpark
Tokyo GoGo - Mission sushi...you thought there were only burritos in the Mission?

Whoa!...there are several good places to get sushi in SF. I'm not sure where you're staying but check out SF Gate/restaurants...and I'm sure you'll find something. One place is Yoshi's where they also have jazz/world music. There's one in Sf and one Oakland. They're not cheap but they are good.

yoshi's sucks, i had a couple of friends who worked there. ryoko's is one of the well know places where most of the chefs, cooks, restaurant managers, and waitstaff gather afterwork or on their days off meet.

I would add WeBe Sushi in the Mission to the list.
