Sarchi oxcart land

• Sarchi is the central town of Valverde Vega county in Alajuela, the oxcart and all related with local art is coming from this town, they love to keep the tradition of the oxcarts and not they make the nicer ones you find in Costa Rica, very colorful and always with original paint designs, nowadays you can even find them with wood carve designs instead of paint, if you want to get the nicer souvenirs this is your place, located just 45 minutes away from San Jose, good stop if you are going to Arenal volcano, make sure to find the central park to see the biggest oxcart in the world.
