Don Sanchez offers casual cuisine from chef Tadd Chapman, with the emphasis on Mexican and Mexican fusion. Chapman has opened a number of restaurants locally, including Habanero's, Brisas, and The Tulip Tree. He has a reputation for quality, and prices here are very reasonable. This is a great live music venue six nights a week, with the Cuban orchestra playing Thursday through Saturday. They also have great cocktails, and offer tons of specials. Monday is two for one margaritas. Tuesday is two for one tequilas. Wednesday is 25 percent off the wine list. Great service, nice balcony views of downtown San Jose del Cabo, and Happy Hour stretches generously from 11am to 6pm. Free chips and excellent salsa.
