Palmilla Beach

Description:

• A public beach located withing the luxurious One and Only Palmilla resort.  This is the best swimming beach within the bay of San Jose Del Cabo.  Used by locals and foreigners alike.  Fishing charters are found here as well as good snorkelling among rock reefs.  The swimming area is protected by a rock sea wall.  Take the Palmilla exit off the highway at km 27 and follow the signs to beach access.  Plenty of palapas for shade where you can set up for the day.  Lots of adjacent parking.  Plenty of local history here, for ex. they used to load cattle onto boats from here, back in the day.  Lately locals have been fighting, and winning, to keep the beach public.
