- San Jose had many bars tag-a-long with its restaurant and hotel revitalization, and they're all within pretty close distance to the clubs and downtown venues too. Many are sports-themed, or cater to the sports crowd because of the Sharks, but there's also a fairly hefty dance club scene that takes some influence from its wild neighbor up north, San Francisco.
