Description:
This is a beach-front resort on the northeast coast of Puerto Rico that features 500 suites. Tucked in the forest town of Rio Grande, home to El Yunque Rainforest, Gran Meliá caters to young and old, families and couples with its tropical décor and many amenities. Rooms feature great views of the mountain, sea and the gold courses. Inside, the rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated and some of them include hot tubs. The hotel doesn't offer a golf course, but guests have access to neighboring Trump International Golf Club's two 18-hole championship courses designed by PGA professional Tom Kite. There is a basketball court, tennis court, a spa and fitness facilities available inside the hotel. The main attraction here is undeniably the pool, with Greek-inspired columns that frame the stunning views that surrounds them. Gran Meliá also offers fine dining, water sports and entertainment.
