• In the hills, above the city of San Marcos, Sunshine Mountain Vineyards is situated on a southward facing slope to ensure each grape receives the right amount of sun. After harvest, each grape is cold soaked throughout the fermentation process and aged in French oak barrels. For those who wish to visit this winery, which produces Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Syrah, they also offer private tastings by appointment. Moreover, they offer a wine club that includes two bottles of wine shipped once or twice a year.
