Description:
Only a few blocks from Central Park, this must-see museum walks you through the history of the Sula Valley and Honduras from pre-Columbian times, during colonial rule, and into the modern era. Most of the artifacts, which have labels in English and Spanish, were found in the area. There's a small bookstore and handicraft shop inside with a fine array of hard-to-find books on the Mayas, Honduran history, and handmade crafts from indigenous tribes.
