Description:
The Intercontinental Real is a high-end, international chain and solid business hotel, but it's a slightly less appealing option overall than the Hilton Princess or the Sheraton. It's located in the city's main commercial district, which though good for business travelers, isn't tourist friendly; the pool and gym are also small and not overly inviting. On the plus side, the Intercontinental is across the street from El Salvador's biggest shopping mall, Metrocentro, and offers the hippest restaurants and lounges of the big three.
