Los Horcones

Description:

• This laid-back, two-story restaurant and bar is a great place to end the day with a cold beer, comfort food, and a nice view from its upstairs deck overlooking Parque Libertad. The reasonably priced comfort food menu is simple but large, featuring the usual grilled steak, chicken, and fish dishes with salad, rice, and tortillas. You can also find tasty sandwiches and tacos for under $5 (£2.50). Though Los Horcones roughly translates as "the pitchforks," the restaurant's downstairs is inexplicably decorated not with farming furnishings, but with decades-old telephones, a 1970s-era Atari game console, a 1.8m-long (6-ft.) stuffed fish, and a nearly antique DVD player.
