Lover's Steak House

• Lover's Steak House is nearly as tasty as La Pampa but with a more casual, family-friendly atmosphere. Bench seating and beer-brand advertising set the laid-back tone of this 16-year-old restaurant. The English and Spanish menu is larger than La Pampa and includes North American comfort food such as chicken wings, hamburgers, and a club sandwich. The service is also more casual than La Pampa's, but the portions are larger, with even bigger baked potatoes and lots of vegetables. Since Lover's and La Pampa are about evenly priced and both require a taxi ride, your choice depends on your mood. If you want an upscale, romantic dinner, head to La Pampa. If you have a talkative group, a few kids, or just want a casual vibe, Lover's is the better choice.
