"walk through the Farmers Market (Tuesday afternoon or Saturday morning) take a walk in the Public Market try the macaroons at Renaud's Patisserie & Bistro in front of the Arlington Theater take a look at Casa de la Guerra try the coffee at Handlebar Coffee Roasters walk down to Stearns Wharf and try to guess where North is before getting to the end of the pier (there is a compass) have a great lungh/dinner at Santo Mezcal walk around the boats at the Santa Barbara Harbor go to Shoreline Park and watch the sunset from the beach have lunch with your feet in the sand at Shoreline Beach Cafe go play some beachvolley at East Beach walk on the sand to Butterfly Beach go get a drink at sunset at Belmond El Encanto go for drinks with friends somewhere in the The Funk Zone There is a lot more to do (paddle boarding, hiking, zoo, etc), but if you only have one day, this should be plenty."  See More
